Perfect Complexions Inc. - Email Registration Form –Signage

After making the Email Registration Form for Perfect Complexions Inc., we worked on the in-store signage to generate demands. We are now collecting email addresses in order to build Perfect Complexions with a permission based database. We will later test several Email Service Providers and determine which one is better for Perfect Complexions Inc.

Perfect Complexions Inc. - Father's Day Promotion

Every month, Perfect Complexions is offering Monthly Spa Specials. For June, of course, the Father’s Day is a big event for the Salon. Offering few lines of men products as well, this promotion features YonKa and G.M. Collin brands.

Same promotion as above, however, needed some adjustments to fit in the newspaper requirements. Redid the design to fit both Caledon Enterprise ad sizes: 5” x 6” (1/4 page ad) and 5” x 3” (1/8 page ad).

Perfect Complexions Inc. - Prom Promotion

The Prom Promotion was design for graduation, targeting the Bolton High Schools students. This year, all 3 High Schools prom nights were on May 29, 2009. This promotion has not been advertised in-store, and is missing the final text copy. However, this will be kept on file and perhaps being adapted to another promotion later on.

The pictures used have been provided by my cousin Jessica Bouchard and are featuring her last year prom. She has so many beautiful pictures; I am hoping to use the following ones later...

Perfect Complexions Inc.

Located in Bolton Country Market, 301 Queen Street South, Bolton, ON, L7E 2B1.
Being a client of Perfect Complexions Inc. since 2005, I became “somehow” closer to Deborah White, owner of the Salon. After being laid off in November 2008, in this difficult recession market, Deborah White kindly accepted to let me redo her in-store promotions design, allowing me to practice my skills in Fireworks. In addition to this incredible opportunity, Deborah accepted to start building a database and experience e-mail campaigns with me. Being my first client, Deborah allowed me to use her company as a part of my portfolio, hoping to provide a turnkey solution for small businesses. Her open mind into this project is providing me with a wonderful opportunity to show my skills and knowledge in the marketing industry.

(***Please note: I did not design Perfect Complexions’ Business Card)

Romabo Inc. Logos

These logos have been designed for exercise purposes when I first started to learn Adobe Fireworks. Since I knew one of the owners of Romabo Inc. (http://romabodrywall.com), Mr. Marco Roy, I used their original logo as a starting point for my Fireworks lessons, kindly provided by Mr. Jason Oberholzer. Jason, programmer, dear friend of mine and former co-worker, has offered me tutorial lessons and still, an amazing support throughout this Fireworks learning journey.

Yannick - Kenpo Karate Logo

My brother is a Black belt Kenpo Karate and he is hoping to open his own karate school one day. He liked the idea of my logo so I gave it some thoughts, keeping in mind that he really likes Asian calligraphies. After doing some researches on Traditional Chinese calligraphy, putting the emphasis on the core values of karate, I finally found what I was looking for. “Success” in Traditional Chinese is: 成功. My brother signature is starting with a big lower case “y” and the last name “G” starts with the old fashioned writing “G” (If some of you remember.) The kind of G similar to the J that my grandmother was writing and could not understand when we first learn to read…

All that said, knowing my brother signature and his interest in Asian calligraphies, I came up with this logo. I was trying to create something unique to him and his interests, with a specific signification for his personality. I also took into consideration that he is a family person. His 3 sons and wife are very important in his personal development.

So… this ”success” word translated into 成功, blended together, with few alterations, represents his initials. If you look closely, you will find an “S” for his wife Stephanie. Also incorporated to his logo are the first letters of his 3 son’s first names. “P” for Patrick, “A” for Alexandre and “N” for Nathan, also blended together, as a part of his unique logo.

After presenting him few options, he decided to move forward with this one.

My Logo

I came up with this idea because I am usually initialing a lower case “m” with a big lower case “g” around the “m”. Since I do have a passion for online marketing I reused the idea adding an “@”, making a “g” out of it. Here is the final result.
